What RecordBook is
RecordBook is a "smarter Excel" for business records: you make your own sheets for sales, stock, customers or tasks. It was the first result for "shop record book" in Nigeria.
It scores 33 out of 100, number 7 of the seven apps we compared.
What it does well for a small shop
- Any record you want, with your own fields, or a ready template for sales, stock or customers.
- Shared with your team, updated together.
- Export to PDF or Excel, and import your old Excel files.
- No ads, no in-app purchases, and no data shared with other companies, as declared.
What to watch
- Your records are linked to your phone number, with a code sent by SMS to sign in.
- Its listing does not say it works without internet.
- It is a general tool for construction, real estate and services as well as shops. A credit book, a low stock warning or a daily total is something you set up yourself, not something it does for you. That is why it scores low here, not because it is a weak app.
