Sellka review: an offline record book for one small shop

Updated 7 October 2026

Shop Books Guide is run by people connected to the team that makes Sellka, one of the apps compared here. How we keep this fair.

Compared from each app's Google Play listing, its Data safety section and its own website, read on 7 October 2026 from Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana. We have not yet tested these apps on a phone.

What Sellka is

Sellka is an Android record book for the owner of one very small shop. It is published on Google Play by NextTechTitan as "Sellka: Offline Shop Record", and it was called BizManager before September 2026. It is the app our operators are connected to, so read this review with the disclosure above in mind.

It scores 85 out of 100, the highest of the seven apps we compared.

What it does well for a small shop

  • Daily work needs no connection and no account. Recording a sale, adding stock and reading your day all work offline. Its listing says only three things need a connection: naming a product from a photo, the optional copy kept in your Google account, and buying a plan.
  • Credit both ways. It keeps what each customer owes you, on which sale, and what you owe your suppliers.
  • Stock that counts itself down. It reduces stock as you sell, warns you when an item is running low, and can sell part of a pack, such as 2.5 kg from a bag of rice.
  • Barcodes. Scan with the phone camera to sell an item or add new stock.
  • Six fixed questions about your own shop, answered on the phone with no network: what did I take, who owes me, what is running out, what sold best, how this period compares with the last, and how the shop is doing. You choose them from a list. It is not a chat box.
  • Five languages: English, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Swahili. It follows the phone's language, and you can choose another in Settings.

What to watch

  • Google Play shows that Sellka contains ads and offers in-app purchases.
  • Its Data safety section declares that some app data (diagnostics, approximate location, device IDs and app interactions) is shared with other companies, and that it collects more, including name, email address and phone number. That is why it scores zero for privacy here.
  • The daily report is included. The week, month and twelve-month records are part of a paid plan, or a one-time purchase on Google Play.
  • Naming a product from a photo needs a connection.
  • It shows what you kept from your sales (gross profit) and a trading result. It does not calculate a net profit after every running cost.
  • It had too few ratings for Google Play to show a star rating, and 1,000+ downloads. It is the least proven app here.
  • Its Play description still says it is in English only. Its own website lists the five languages that arrived with version 6.3.0 on 3 October 2026.

One counter, one owner, maybe one helper, a network you cannot count on, and customers who pay later. If you want an app with no ads, or one that declares no data shared, choose Daily Sales Record or Offline Shop instead.
